Barney Lawton sets new World Record!
Barney used his 6x47 cal. in the "Light Gun" class 1000 yard benchrest competition. On June 10, 2007 Barney fired a 10 shot group that measured 5.185" all were in the 10 ring for a perfect 100 score. Rifle was a Lawton barrel and action, 8 twist. Berger 107 grain 6mm bullets.

Cody Finch sets new world record using a Lawton 7500 short dual port action. In the 1000 yard competition Cody fired a 10 shot group that measured 3.835" in less than ideal conditions. Shooting in the 16.5# gun class Cody used his Lawton action with a Krieger bbl.
